Theory Test
You can start to study for your Theory Test as soon as possible, there are lots of books and software available to help. Your instructor will also provide instruction and advice on both the Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test.
In order to sit your Practical Driving Test, you must have passed your Theory Test, so it's important to pass your Theory Test so that when your Instructor advises you that you're ready to sit your Practical Test you can book it right away.
The easiest way to book your Theory test is online and you can do it by clicking here. You can book by calling 0870 010 1372 at any time between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. When you phone you should have your DVLA/DVLNI driving licence number ready along with your credit or debit card details. You will be given a booking reference number and sent an appointment letter that you should receive within 4 days of your call. If you don't receive your appointment letter within 5 working days, please contact the booking office again.
