Hints and Tips
It is natural to feel nervous about learning to drive, your instructor will make you feel comfortable. Don't worry about making mistakes, all learners make mistakes and your instructor is there to help you through. Think of the independence that learning to drive will give you. Your instructor is there to help you to pass your test and go on to be a safe driver.
Ultimately it will be time for you to sit your driving test and this can be when people get very nervous.
The Driving Examiner will not ask you to do anything that you have not been taught and completed successfully before. The examiner will do everything to put you at your ease.
Remember it's not the examiner's job to fail you, he wants you to pass as much as you do!!
The obvious points, are to have a good nights sleep the night before, eat something before you go - you don't want your stomach rumbling in the middle of the test!
Most importantly, if your instructor has told you that you're ready for your test then you must be, he's the one that knows you are up to test standard, so be happy in the knowledge that your instructor has confidence in you and have complete confidence in yourself - go ahead and pass!!!!
